Fire Suppression Program

The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is proud to work with the City of Loveland to administer a fire suppression grant program to bring buildings over 50 years old in the Loveland Downtown District up to current fire code through the installation of a fire suppression system.

In 2019, the DDA has awarded grants totaling $98,009 to three property owners to bring a fire line to their building. The three buildings are: The Lovelander Hotel Apartments at 114 East 4th Street, The Gressiwick at 426 N. Lincoln and the former Lightning Hybrid Building at 319 N. Cleveland.

As a match for the grant and to receive final grant funding, the property owner must install the fire suppression system inside their building. We’re proud to launch this partnership with the City of Loveland and look forward the 2021 grant round to assist with additional properties.
